Afghan students: Afghan government should be increasing academic relation with China

China provides Afghanistan with 100 scholarships for Master’s and Doctoral degrees each year. Abdul qahar spokesman in the ministry of higher education said that The Chinese Government grants 100 scholarships under China Afghanistan Communication Scholarship Program each year. He also said that Applicants should come to the ministry of higher education and gain detail about the scholarship. Based on the five-year agreement between China Afghanistan, which began in 1395 and continues until 1399, China annually employs over 100 scholarships for doctoral and postgraduate degrees 50 scholarships through the Ministry of Higher Education and 50 other scholarships through the embassy of the country in Kabul.

Jawed also said that Chinese universities also offer scholarships for qualified Afghan students under Chinese Universities Program each year. He said that Afghan Applicants should submit applications to the designated universities undertaking this program from January to the end of April by themselves. He also emphasizes that this is a good opportunity for Afghan student to confuse their education in China.

At the same time, Afghan students which are studying at Chinese universities are pleased with the teaching systems of these universities, and they are urging the Afghan government to increase his academic relationship with China government.

Sayed Rahman sayel, an Afghan student at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, said that the use of Chinese universities’ experiences should be highlighted by the Afghan Ministry of Higher Education.

He also said that that increasing academic relation, especially sending Chinese professors to Afghan universities and using their experiences for the Afghan higher education system, would be very effective.

Afghan student wais baheen said that China has worked very well on the use of new technology in higher education, something that is needed for universities in Afghanistan.

He believes that the universities of Afghanistan have a lot of problems in using modern technologies in the area of education and the experience of China education system will solve these problems.
